“Austin consistently ranks as one of the top cities for both the tech industry and entrepreneurship. But the story is a little different when you look at these rankings from the female perspective. While Austin gets high marks as a hotbed for women entrepreneurs, it’s less rosy for women in technology, with women holding only 21% of the roles and earning, on average, 20% less than their male counterparts.
