Flourish helps women get healthy for good by teaching women to build sustainable habits across the full spectrum of behavioral health: nutrition, hydration, sleep, stress, relationships, and movement.

Flourish incorporates gold standard practices that were previously only available through meeting one-on-one and often in-person with a registered dietitian or therapist.

Flourish delivers virtually and at scale through a subscription membership offering personalized coaching from credentialed health experts, community support, and evidence-based education.

Flourish gets to the root of members’ struggles. On average, members experience a 25% increase in self-efficacy, a 34% decrease in binge-restrict behaviors, and a 27% decrease in emotional eating.

Flourish meets their members where they are, and helps them get healthy their way — for good.

“I’ve finally found the balance and the ease that I’ve been looking for and as a result, I am the happiest and the healthiest I have been in a long time.” – Flourish member, Demi

Why Start Flourish? “I spent 10 years of my life on diets, struggling with food, health, and body image, and I’m not alone. Every year, tens of millions of women vow to get healthier, and they immediately turn to diets. But diets don’t work and are often counterproductive.

Women don’t need to micromanage their nutrition or obsess over the scale in order to be healthy. They need something they can stick with, and Flourish helps women get healthy for good. I founded Flourish for all of the women like me, who value their health and are done with diets.”

Why Seek Venture Capital? “Because now is the perfect time. We’re experiencing a massive shift in how health is viewed. It’s not just about what you eat, how much you exercise, or the number on the scale. It’s not one-size-fits-all.

As a society, we’re beginning to appreciate both the holistic nature of health – physical, mental, and emotional – and the importance of approaching it from an individualized perspective.

Raising venture capital, from True Wealth Ventures specifically, gives us two incredible partners and it allows Flourish to reach a much larger audience more quickly.”

Why True Wealth Ventures? “I’ve known Kerry and Sara for a couple of years now. We met during office hours, long before I had ever considered raising venture capital.

In those conversations and each one since, True Wealth has been incredibly thorough, asked thoughtful questions, and demonstrated clear common interests: empowering women, driving positive impact, and building big business.

When we opened our seed round and began communicating with more investors, TWV continued to stand out. By the time they offered us terms, our decision had already been made. We’re so excited to be part of their portfolio.”

Have you seen women GPs bring a different perspective to the table? “Most definitely. Women have a different perception and experience of the world. With that, women partners appreciate and often identify more strongly with us and our mission.”

Do you think a woman’s perspective is valuable to this market? “I think a woman’s perspective is necessary. Women spend significantly more than men on preventative healthcare, but their woman-specific needs are largely ignored. Flourish is ready to change that.”

Words of Wisdom: “ “As you climb the ladder of success, be sure it’s leaning against the right building.” This quote serves as a reminder to stay true to my personal values and vision for Flourish.”
